IWG opens new HQ office in Exeter as demand for hybrid working spaces increases

IWG, a major provider of hybrid working services is set to open a state-of-the-art HQ office in Exeter. Located on Marsh Barton Business Park, it is being delivered in partnership with Matford Business Centres and will provide private offices and meeting rooms.

“Exeter is important business hub for the UK and a fantastic place for us to boost our expansion plans,” says IWG CEO & Founder, Mark Dixon. “As the capital city of Devon the city functions as a hub for business, education and culture in the region. We are therefore establishing a stronger and more diversified footprint in the city with this latest opening.

Welcome to the new HQ office in Exeter

The new HQ office is ideally located three miles from Exeter Airport and within the city’s commuter belt. This is the fourth IWG location in the area, which already has Basepoint, IWG and Regus centres. The building will provide space for established firms and start-ups across a range of industries. It will also enable companies to tailor their space to their requirements as part of IWG’s ‘Design Your Own Office service’.

  • Situated at Matford Business Centre thenew HQ location offers 10,990 sq.ft HQ of co-working spaces and meeting rooms; 
  • The new workspace is part of the drive to provide top class facilities in a wide variety of locations as hybrid working becomes a reality for more workers; 
  • This opening follows a managed partnership agreement with the building owner, who has invested in the IWG platform to create a branded flexible workspace in their building; and
  • The new HQ office in Exeter is a part of IWG’s plan to add 1,000 new locations globally over the next year.
