The Devon Business Show 2026 returns to Plymouth Life Centre on Wednesday 14 October, bringing businesses from across the county together for a day of networking and new connections.
Organised by Devon Chamber of Commerce, the free event runs from 10am to 3pm and will feature exhibitors representing a wide range of industries. From established companies to smaller enterprises, the show is a chance to meet potential customers and suppliers while discovering what other businesses in the region have to offer.
Following record attendance in 2025, Devon Chamber reports that hundreds of businesses and professionals have already registered for this year’s event. The show attracted more than 100 exhibitors last year, demonstrating the appetite for face-to-face business connections across the South West.

Devon Business Show 2026 to launch Global Devon initiative
A highlight of this year’s event is the launch of Devon Chamber’s Global Devon Strategy Pillar. Visitors will be among the first to hear what the initiative means for businesses across the region.
For Devon companies looking to expand their reach, the initiative adds another dimension to an event traditionally associated with local networking and business development.
The exhibition will feature organisations from a variety of sectors, including professional services, technology, education and business support. Among those listed as exhibitors are Devon County Council, Exeter Airport, Growth Hub and Babcock International Group.
There will also be a networking breakfast at Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park before the main exhibition opens, giving business owners and professionals another way to make connections early.
Connecting businesses across Devon
Although the Devon Business Show takes place in Plymouth, its appeal extends across the county. For businesses in Exeter, Torbay, Barnstaple and the wider South West, events like this provide an opportunity to develop relationships beyond their immediate local markets.
Smaller businesses in particular can benefit from meeting potential customers and collaborators face to face. A conversation at an exhibition can open doors that might otherwise remain closed, particularly when businesses are looking to establish themselves in new areas.
The event also highlights the diversity of Devon’s economy, bringing together businesses operating in different sectors and at different stages of development.
For those attending, it is worth looking through the exhibitor list in advance and identifying businesses they would particularly like to meet. With so many organisations represented, a little preparation could make the difference between simply visiting the exhibition and coming away with useful new contacts.
